We need more housing—but we don’t need more sprawl. Chris will transform vacant and underused commercial properties into vibrant communities with housing, shops, restaurants, and services. He’ll use technology to modernize and right-size LYNX and work to make Downtown Orlando safer, cleaner, and more vibrant.

Finally, we will strengthen partnerships with local, state, and federal law enforcement to combat human trafficking, with particular focus on protecting children from exploitation. Every child deserves to grow up safe, supported, and free from abuse and fear.

Public safety is one of the most fundamental responsibilities of local government. As Orange County continues to grow, our investment in law enforcement, fire rescue, and emergency medical services must keep pace. As Mayor, I will ensure our first responders have the staffing, training, equipment, and resources they need to protect our residents and respond effectively. We will strengthen recruitment and retention, evaluate staffing levels and response times, and invest in effective crime prevention and community policing. Public safety is not a partisan issue—it is a quality-of-life issue.
