Laurel served as Florida’s Secretary of State for three years, and delivered strong results for families, and businesses. In Congress, Laurel is fighting tirelessly to Grow our Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Ensure American Energy DOMINANCE, Keep our now very Secure Border, SECURE, Champion Innovation, Strengthen our Great Military/Veterans, and Protect our always under siege Second Amendment.

She also supported efforts to cut unnecessary government spending and end fraud, waste, and abuse in government programs —ensuring that taxpayer resources go to those truly in need, not those who are ineligible or defrauding the system. Recognizing the value of skilled trades and hands-on careers, Laurel supports the PELL Act, expanding Pell grants for technical education and job training.

One way Robert will look to do this is to establish a minimum salary in every state. This will be determined at the very least by the cost of living, the current median salaries, and a few other factors. It will be enough for teachers not to have to get second jobs over the summer.

We have proven time and time again that we have the capacity to support Medicare For All, and there has been enough "kicking this can down the road." Robert will support universal healthcare to ensure that our citizens receive the healthcare they need without being financially drained just to pay for medication(s), forcing them to decide between paying a bill or receiving, in many cases, life-saving medicines. Our citizens should not have to decide to essentially die due to the inflated costs of medications that they can no longer afford, and whoever is benefiting from these astronomical costs needs to be held accountable as well. Enough of pretending we do not know that is happening.

This bill was passed on July 3, 2025, and signed on July 4, 2025. This is a horrible bill, to say the least. Millions will lose healthcare coverage and SNAP benefits. Our national debt will rise by nearly $3.5 trillion. There will be limits to overtime and tips deductions. And this is just the start. If this has not taken place by the time Robert is in office in 2027, his goal here would be to propose legislation to amend and/or repeal this bill.

Robert will propose raising the Social Security tax cap. According to http://pgpf.org , in 2025, the Social Security tax cap was set at $176,100, which is an increase of $7,500 more than in 2024.
